Most problematic behaviors on college campuses involve bystanders. Step UP! training provides a framework explaining the bystander effect, reviews relevant research and teaches skills for intervening successfully using the 5 Decision Making Steps, and the S.E.E. Consider taking the University of Missouri Suicide Prevention Training Program to learn how to prevent suicide by: identifying people at risk for suicide, recognizing the risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs of suicide, and responding to and getting help for people at risk.
